Vocal Coach Reacts To The DoobieBrothers - Long Train Running - Ken Tamplin
The Doobie Brothers have been putting out great music for 5 DECADES!
They were most successful in the 70s and their music has evolved over 3 different eras from mainstream rock and roll to a more soul influence when band member Michael McDonald joined the group.
The band has always been characterized by their great vocal harmonies.
The Doobie Brothers were especially popular among California biker gangs like Hells Angels when they started out and have gone on to sell over 40 million records.
Band member Jeff “Skunk” Baxter who I had the privilege of working with, went on to be one of the great guitarists of his era.
Today I’ll be reacting to “Long Train Runnin’” which was a top 10 hit for the band on the US Billboard Hot 100.
