This Is What Your Voice Actually Sounds Like To Everyone Else - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

Have you ever cringed when you hear your voice played back on a recording?

This is a common reaction. It's because when we speak or sing, we are hearing a different sound than what everyone else hears. We are hearing our voice when we speak or sing, largely through bone conduction in our skull. The recording is what the world hears. We are shocked when we hear our own voice like others hear it.

It is important to learn how our voice sounds to others so that we can first become accustomed to that sound, and secondly, we can begin to create the tone and voice quality that we actually want from our voice.

Check this video out, and do the exercises with me, to get started moving towards the singing and speaking voice you have always wanted.
