Vocal Coach Reacts to Poison - Talk Dirty To Me - Live - MTV 1987 - VH1 - Ken Tamplin

Poison became a significant part of the LA band scene after moving there from Pennsylvania where the band originated.

They struggled in the beginning but worked really hard to promote themselves and made the rounds at the local popular clubs. Their manager actually negotiated a deal where the Troubadour paid their rent.

The band went to achieve great commercial success in the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s. They have sold over 45 million records worldwide including 15 million records in the United States alone.

For today’s reaction I’ll be looking at their live performance on MTV of “Talk Dirty To Me”. It ended up being the band's first big international hit and was a staple at their live shows. It was also ranked the 40th greatest hard rock song of all time by VH1 and is considered a glam metal classic. It became the band's first top 40 hit in the United States and has since been certified platinum.
