Singing into the "Mask."

What does that mean?

This can be a very misunderstood concept.

Over the years I have seen and heard many vocal coaches describe the sensation of "Mask." (or currently referred to as "Forward Placement Singing.")

Often times vocal coaches will suggest feeling it in or under your eyes. Or "resonating" in the face.

Mask is also often confused with promoting nasality.
