Led Zeppelin - Black Dog - ft Kayla Reeves - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

The name “Black Dog” is actually never mentioned in the lyrics of the famous Led Zeppelin tune and the song itself has nothing to do with the title.

What other famous tunes can you think of with a title that has no relevance to the actual meaning of the song? Share with me in the comments!

Bassist John Paul Jones got the idea for the song from a Muddy Waters album and despite having not completed many songs, the bits and pieces he brought to Led Zeppelin's writing sessions proved worthy.

The song was the first track released off their best-selling album Led Zeppelin 4 and even by Led Zeppelin standards it’s a musically complex song.

Our own Kayla Reeves is taking on the song next!
