Warhammer 40,000 is a franchise by Games Workshop, and the most popular miniature wargame in the world. The new video game, Space Marine 2 kicks off after the return of Roboute Guilliman, one of the superhuman "Primarch" sons of the Emperor and leader of the Ultramarines, and in the middle of the Imperium's Indomitus Crusade to reclaim lost worlds from its alien enemies, including the Tyranids. In Warhammer 40k's grimdark setting, humanity is locked in constant, impossible wars with many other enemies including Orks, Necrons, and the evil Chaos Gods (including Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh and Nurgle). The Blood Angels are one of the legions of Space Marines, originally led by the Primarch Sanguinius, "The Great Angel" who sacrificed himself during the siege of Terra to protect the Emperor and the Imperium from Horus during the climax of the Horus Heresy war.
