Superstition - Stevie Wonder cover -Tori Matthieu Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

Born Stevland Hardaway Judkins, Stevie Wonder arrived six weeks early.

The stunted growth of blood vessels in the back of his eyes caused his retinas to detach, and the oxygen pumped into his incubator made the condition worse, leaving him permanently blind.

He is currently 69 years old.

Some of my personal favorite tracks of Stevie's are not just his huge pop hits, but more of his soul stuff like: 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours', Livin' For The City, 'Superstition', 'Sir Duke',

Stevie has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the 60 best-selling music artists of all time.

Stevie got "discovered" when a member of his local church choir saw that Stevie had mastered piano, harmonica, drums and bass before his teenage years. He auditioned for Motown Records at the age of 11, and founder Berry Gordy later said he was "speechless" and signed him on the spot!

At age 13, he became the youngest person to top Billboard’s Hot 100, with “Fingertips” in 1963, recorded live in concert.

He has won 25 Grammys. Only three people have more: conductor Georg Solti (31) and producer Quincy Jones and bluegrass queen Alison Krauss

(27 each).

With that said: Tori and I thought it would be fun to do Superstition!

Tori has put her own spin on it.

Let us know how we did. :-)
