I wanted to share the video for my original song “Second to Midnight” with you all on election day as a reminder of how fragile our world is and how important it is for us to take ownership of its future. The song was inspired by the idea of the doomsday clock, a measure of how close we are to a man-made global catastrophe - and in 2018 we’re as close as we’ve ever been to the “midnight” which on the clock’s scale represents a disaster like nuclear war or environmental collapse. PLEASE go out and VOTE today for candidates who will help us move away from a future of conflict, division, and selfishness and toward a vision of tomorrow that’s not as bleak as the one in this music video!
