[[ NOTES: ]]

First of all, I'm sorry I've been so inactive lately! I've had a lot of personal stuff going on, so I've honestly had next to no time to check YouTube -- I know I'm super behind on messages and comments, but I'll try my best to steadily work through them whenever I have a chance!

I actually wrote and recorded these lyrics about a month ago to test new recording stuff I had gotten, but I never posted it and I figured I might as well do so now since I haven't had time to record the new stuff on my to-do list, haha.

If you've played the second Professor Layton game, you'll recognize this as the ending theme that plays during the credits! There's a full Japanese vocal version with lyrics, but they never made an English version so I thought I'd do so with the music box instrumental, which I think fits the song beautifully. The lyrics are loosely based on the Japanese version's, but I mostly took free reign with them and wrote them to fit Anton and Sophia's storyline, from Sophia's point of view. :)

It's a little rough, but I hope you enjoy it~!

[[ LYRICS: ]]

When I think of the memories

We shared long ago

There's a part deep within me

That wants you to know

Though I left without warning

Without a goodbye

I have faith that soon someday

You'll be by my side

I promise you

I'll answer your plea

I swear it's true

Just trust in me

My love for you

Will always live on

Like a song

A simple melody

Though we're apart

You'll always be in my heart

I'll dream of the day

You travel my way

And we make a brand new start

Never my oath come what may

The sun will shine someday

With new horizons to pursue

New horizons here with you...
