How to Care for Your Voice - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

For fear of sounding cynical in my opening statement I will simply state this: sometimes common sense is not so common!

It surprises me to find out how few people value nutrition and exercise.

Quality living permeates through our entire bodies and even our mental health.

And yet we live in a fast food culture that races from burger to burger, pizza to pizza, pasta to pasta, you name it!

Not that there's anything wrong, I believe, with having an occasional burger, piece of pizza, or a good plate of spaghetti. But it's become the main staple of our dietary system in much of the West.

This is also true of the overuse of alcohol that can be problematic to our digestive track, and eventually to our vocal folds.

In this video, I briefly touch on a few things that should be no-brainers (but apparently aren't), in the hopes that we will take these things seriously for our long-term physical and vocal health.
