American rockers Blondie, were New Wave pioneers in the mid to late 70s.

Founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein, the band was regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of their album Parallel Lines in 1978.

Debbie Harry got her start singing in her church choir and went on to sell 40 million records worldwide with Blondie!

Their hit “Call Me” which Kati is covering today, was originally written for Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks but it ended up being recorded by Blondie instead. It became a number one hit for the band.
