Last Korra post for a long while, probably -- once again posting here to avoid reposts by others. I can't believe the first season is over!! :(
Everything about that finale was incredible for me... what a well-crafted story and execution, seriously. Without blatantly spoiling anything, the backstory with Noatak and Tarrlok both warmed my heart and made me cry -- I couldn't BELIEVE that boat scene at the end! ALL OF MY FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS JUST BROKE INTO LITTLE PIECES.
As I said on Tumblr, writing and recording this was super masochistic cause I only made myself even more sad than I already was about the finale, haha... The original version was sad enough! But it's been well-recieved there (albeit with lots of tears, I hear) so here it is for those of you who don't have Tumblr accounts.
