There are many fallacies about the voice that people have bought into such as "You have to be born with talent to be able to sing." This is simply not true. Pretty much anyone that can sing "Happy Birthday" can learn how to sing.

The other thing singers say about themselves is that they can only sing in a certain style because of their "voice type." This is also not true.

Here at KTVA, we pride ourselves in singing in many different styles.

This increases the palette of colors that we can use to sing in styles that we love, instead of being relegated to singing one-dimensionally, in only the one style that we thought was the style that best fits our voice.
