Vocal Coach Reacts To Toto - Hold The Line - Ken Tamplin

Toto is one of my favorite bands of all-time. Their musicianship was and is phenomenal.

The words "In Toto" in Latin translate to all-encompassing which accurately defines their musical style. The band combines elements of pop, rock, soul, funk, progressive rock, hard rock, R&B, blues, and jazz.

The group was formed in Los Angeles in 1977 and have released 14 studio albums and sold over 40 million records worldwide.

Collectively, members of Toto have appeared on 5000 albums amassing sales of a half billion albums. It's estimated that 95% of the world's population has heard a performance by a member of Toto.

Toto is perhaps best known for the #1 smash hit Africa, but there was a lot more to them than that hit. The band scored 10 top 40 hits including Rosanna, Hold the Line, I Won't Hold You Back, I'll Be Over You, Pamela, 99, Make Believe, Stranger in Town, and Without Your Love.

Today I’ll be reacting to the song “Hold the Line”. I hope you enjoy and please share your feedback!
