Vocal Coach Reacts To Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks | Angel From Montgomery | Anyhow | Ken Tamplin

Listening to Susan Tedeschi is a reminder to me of why I got into the music business. Her music is all about coming together and having a good time.

Susan often plays together with her husband Derek Trucks to form the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Derek is also one of the greatest slide guitar players of all time.

Susan first formed the Susan Tedeschi Band back in 1993 and learned how to play blues guitar a few years after that. She later began touring all over the US and in 1999 she was invited to play Lilith Fair.

She has gone on to receive 7 Grammy nominations and won one with Tedeschi Trucks Band back in 2012.

I got turned on to Susan’s earlier stuff quite some time back and today I wanted to share a couple of performances of hers. The first is a live studio recording of “Anyhow” and it’s followed by a concert performance of “Angel From Montgomery”.
