Metallica always brings a ton of great energy when they perform and today’s performance is certainly no exception.
Today’s video is an older performance of their song “The Thing That Should Not Be” which was the third song released off their album Master of Puppets.
Written by band members James Hetfield, Lars Urich and Kirk Hammett, the song is based off a character in a series of short stories written by 20th century American writer H. P. Lovecraft.
The song has gone on to be covered by numerous other bands including Primus, Dream Theater, Iron Horse, and many others.
Playing in front of a huge crowd, the band brings a powerful performance that I think you will find to be very entertaining. I hope you all enjoy the video and please let me know what you thought of it!
