Vocal Coach Reacts To Luke Combs | Can I Get An Outlaw | Live | Ken Tamplin
Without having previously seen today’s performance, Luke Combs was able to express my own shared opinion on what much of today’s country music has become through his song.
Luke Combs represents a number of up-and-coming country artists who are looking to break what has become the mold for country music.
Combs grew up in North Carolina and has been performing since he was a kid. After not finishing his senior year of high school to pursue a career in country music, he moved to Nashville to get a record deal.
He released two EPs in 2014 before seeing his debut single reach number 46 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, having sold 15,000 copies in the first week alone.
Shortly after, he was signed to Sony Music Nashville and he has gone on to produce seven singles all of which have gone to number one on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.
I’ll be reacting to a performance of his hit “Can I Get An Outlaw” and I’ll be sharing some of my thoughts on how country music’s transformation has mirrored other genres.
I hope you all enjoy the video and please make sure to comment and let me know what you thought!
