Vocal Coach Reacts To DeAndre Nico - Bruno Mars cover - When I Was Your Man - The Voice -Ken Tamplin

DeAndre Nico had a controversial exit on The Voice’s Season 15. Many fans felt he did not deserve to be eliminated and were outraged with how Adam Levine handled it.

Such is the reality of tv singing competitions. The best person does not always advance. But as we’ve seen in various other instances, artists can still go on to have very successful careers despite what judges or viewers decide on a tv show.

DeAndre has been playing piano, drums and singing since childhood. His family tragically lost everything when Hurricane Harvey devastated his hometown.

He went on to star on The Voice, finishing in the Top 10 and building a loyal fan base along the way.

DeAndre has such a warm tone in his voice and really utilizes open throat technique to get that great range he has.

I’ll be reacting to his performance on The Voice of Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man”.
