Vocal Coach Reacts To Bruce Springsteen - Born In The USA - Live - Ken Tamplin
American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen truly is "The Boss" and his career has spanned five decades.
He has become known for his poetic and socially conscious lyrics and for his energetic stage performances.
Bruce has recorded both rock and folk-oriented music, and his lyrics often address the experiences and struggles of working-class Americans.
His introduction to music came at an early age when he became hooked on Elvis at seven years old. He bought his first guitar for $18 when he was 13 and the first song he learned to play was "Twist and Shout".
In 1979 Springsteen saw the Ramones perform and Joey Ramone ended up asking him to write a song for them. He wrote "Hungry Heart" for them, but he ended up keeping it for himself.
His album "Born to Run" brought him worldwide fame and his first major purchase was 1950 Corvette.
Springsteen has gone on to sell more than 135 million records worldwide and more than 64 million records in the United States, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists.
I'll be reacting to his classic "Born In The USA". I hope you enjoy his passionate performance!
