The Outfield - Your Love - Tony Lewis - Isolated Vocals - Analysis and Tutorial
Tony Lewis of The Outfield had a very distinct, unique voice and his vocal fach would be classified as a countertenor or contra tenor.
Are there any of my singing friends out there who fall in this voice type or do you know of anyone who is? Let me know in the comments!
Though there aren't a lot of voice types like this, in this video I'm going to share some examples of a few you might recognize and we'll compare them to Tony.
We'll also dive into the qualities and characteristics of Tony's voice including his airy, tonal quality, his spot-on pitch and how he articulates the sound.
