Peace On Earth - Ken Tamplin Original Song

As I have mentioned a few times already, I managed to get a few albums out during the zenith of the Grunge era. I guess technically I was the rebel at that point because commercial rock had died and I refused to believe it, so I kept making music that reflected that.

One of the greatest daggers in my heart from the Grunge era was that it was technically "the death of the guitar solo" and I lived my entire life wanting to be somewhere between Michael Schenker, Steve Lukather, Jimmy Page, Jan Akkerman, David Gilmour, and many other legendary guitarists.

But that era was over and the nails in the coffin were pounded in by the Grunge era.

This particular song, "Peace On Earth" derived from an album I made with many incredible guitarists.

The album was titled Wake The Nations. Here's a list of some of the musicians that performed on the album with me: Jeff Watson (Nightranger), Pete Lesperance (Harem Scarem), Stevie Salas, Ritchie Kotzen (Mr. Big), Marty Friedman (Megadeth ), Reb Beach (Winger / Dokken / Whitesnake), Mattias Ekklundh (Freak Kitchen), Kee Marcello (Europe), Doug Aldrich (Dio / Whitesnake), Howie Simon, Scott Van Zen, additional vocals Jeff Scott Soto, drums Ken Mary and Glenn Sobel.

Quite a lineup if you ask me!
