MIIA - Inner Voices Speaking (Demo) (Lyric Video)
This song is the last track on my debut EP with the same title, Inner Voices Speaking 🔮 I wanted this song to combine fractions from every song on the EP, "Oxide", "Skin of a Fool", "Can't Remember a Smile", and "How Do I Love You?", while also bringing something new. So this fall, I sat down by my piano with all the songs and this whole journey in mind and started playing around with chords, melodies, and lyrics. It all just felt so right and special!
I am very proud of this little mini album, and I truly owe a lot of it to you, my fans - my friends - my beautiful creatures 🧚♂️ Thank you, for your constant support, over what is almost a decade now! Your comments here on YouTube have always lifted me up when things felt hopeless - and I have never forgotten that you are here. I hope with this EP that I can give something back to you - hopefully some of the same comfort and courage that you guys have given me. And I hope it can inspire you to tell your own stories - without shame, but with pride!
