I can't believe 6 years have passed since I recorded this lesson with my student Francesco Carrer. Many people don't know this, but this video was never supposed to go on YouTube, I just recorded it as I did every student back then, to analyze my teaching habits and see how I could improve as a vocal coach. But after watching this video over and over every night before going to bed, I thought, "What the heck. Let's post it on YouTube because it's so cute, and maybe it will make someone smile."

And that is how it all began, from one short lesson recorded on my cellphone to teaching the world to sing through my videos and lessons!

Thank you to my student Francesco, who will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart, and all of my students since then who have taught me what it means to believe and dream all over again.
