The famed producer/DJ, whose real name is Nick Miller, has struggled heavily with the impact of drug abuse. Last year’s “Feel Good” reminded listeners that we all need to rely on each other during personal crises. But fans also know that ILLENIUM is totally candid about his problems, too. “Take You Down” was inspired by a desperate moment in his life. Miller, who has lived through an OD scare, had been kicked out of rehab, and felt he had nowhere left to go before his mom’s love steered him straight.
