Hurt So Bad - Sara Loera - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

Today Sara is covering the song "Hurt So Bad".

It is ACTUALLY a classic 1965, Top 10 hit ballad that was originally recorded by Little Anthony & The Imperials.

The song has been re-recorded by numerous artists including The Lettermen, who took the song to number twelve in September 1969.

However many of us know the song from Linda Ronstadt who also had a Top 10 hit with her cover version in 1980.

Ronstadt is a multi-faceted singer known for singing in a wide range of genres including rock, country, light opera, and Latin.

In total, she has released over 30 studio albums and 15 compilation or greatest hits albums.

Linda's version of the song featured a scorching guitar solo by Danny Kortchmar. It stands as the most successful version ever recorded of the song, which peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the spring of 1980.
