Elton treated the crowd to this lively rendition of “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues” at his Miami Arena concert in 1998. The song, co-written with guitarist Davey Johnstone and recorded at George Martin’s AIR Studios on Montserrat, was the first single from his 1983 album “Too Low For Zero” and was one of Elton's highest charting US singles of the 80s. Elton’s keyboardist, the late Guy Babylon, emulates the harmonica solo played on the studio recording by Stevie Wonder.
