I remember being in Europe when "The Final Countdown" came out. (which I just did with my student Sara :-)

You could hardly go anywhere where that song wasn't blasting.

Didn't matter if it was a pub, gas station or grocery store, "Europe" had conquered Europe!

I was discussing fun songs to do with Giusy and we chose to also take on "Carrie."

Singer Joey Tempest and original guitarist John Norum were a force to be reckoned with. (I later had Europe's guitarist Kee Marcello play on my Wake The Nations album a few year back :)
