Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk - cover - Tori Matthieu - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

Tori Matthieu has been back in the studio working with me and today she’ll be showing us how to “Uptown Funk”!

Tori will be covering the tune which was written by the team of Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson, Philip Lawrence and Jeff Bhasker during a freestyle jam session with Mars and his band.

Mark Ronson ended up releasing the song which featured Bruno’s vocals, off of his fourth studio album called Uptown Special. It went on to be the most successful single to date for both Bruno and Mark topping the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 weeks.

The song also won a Grammy for Record of the Year and was certified platinum 11 times. It is the sixth most viewed YouTube video of all-time and it has received 3.7 billion views.

I hope you all enjoy Tori’s performance and please make sure to share with us what you thought!
