When you think of the top Southern Rock bands of all-time which ones come to mind? Let me know in the comments!
Founded in 1974, 38 Special is certainly a band that belongs in that conversation and the group continues to tour to this day.
The band’s original co-founder Donnie Van Zant was the brother of Ronnie Van Zant, founder of one of Southern Rock’s other great bands: Lynyrd Skynyrd.
I’ll be taking on the band’s hit “Hold On Loosely” which was co-written by lead singer Don Barnes who has fronted the band for almost 5 decades.
