What You Want | Evanescence | Amy Lee | Xiomara Crystal | Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

Xiomara has given us some great performances of Evanescence tunes and today she will take on another one.

“What You Want” was originally released back in 2011 and was the lead single off the group’s third album.

Written by Amy Lee, the song was a shift from their traditional sound and contains various musical instruments including synthesizers, piano, guitars and drums.

Inspired by experiences Amy had with fans, the lyrics express the idea of the freedom to be who you really are.

The song went on to reach number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was praised by many music critics for its instrumentation.

We hope you enjoy Xiomara’s take on the tune and please be sure to share with us what you thought of her performance!
