What Makes This Singer Great? Bonnie Raitt
Bonnie Raitt's velvety tone and distinct falsetto make it pretty easy to distinguish her singing.
Also a multi-instrumentalist, she is in my opinion, very underrated for how phenomenally talented she is.
Bonnie spent almost 20 years making music without much commercial success until she released her 10th album Nick Of Time in 1989.
The album went on to win her 4 Grammys and topped the US charts. Rolling Stone has also called it one of the 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time.
Her subsequent albums were also big successes and she has gone on to win 10 Grammys and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I'll be sharing what I think makes her great as she performs "Something To Talk About". I also want to know what you think makes Bonnie great so please be sure to share in the comments!
