This vocal tone exercise is meant to practice keeping a consistent tone, which means that you don’t sing too nasal, too breathy etc. While doing this you want to sing it the same way you speak. So stay relaxed and sing it comfortably like you would do when you speak. After each "Hi" in the exercise I want you to take in a small zip of air so you can continue the exercise without long breaks where you can breathe.
