Vocal Coach Reaction to Halestorm - Lzzy Hale - Dissident Aggressor - Judas Priest - Ken Tamplin
Today’s reaction is from female ROCKER Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.
Hale is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist in the band which she co-founded with her brother Arejay when she was just 13.
Halestorm is well known for their near NON-STOP touring, often performing as many as 250 shows a year
In February of 2013, they became the FIRST female-fronted band to be nominated AND win a Grammy award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.
Hale has been named by “Revolver” magazine as one of the "Hottest Chicks in Metal"
In this reaction, Hale is performing “Dissident Aggressor” by Judas Priest who actually won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance of the song 33 years after its release!
When performed by Judas Priest, the song was said to have featured "groundbreaking vocal styles" by Rob Halford which have since come to be regarded as very influential in the Rock/Metal genre.
I REALLY dig Lzzy’s performance but take a look for yourself and let me know what you think and how it stacks up to the original.
