[[ NOTES: ]]
YOU GUYS, I have been wanting to do this song since forever and I'm so excited to share it with you now. I've teamed up with the talented Derek McElroy who provided the beautiful acoustic guitar sounds you hear on this! He's so awesome -- just listen to that solo in the middle! I'm so happy I got to work with him. When he agreed to collaborate with me on this, I was so excited! Definitely check out more of his stuff and subscribe to his channel:
This song was originally sung by The National on the HBO adaptation of Game Of Thrones, but the version we based ours off of was Malukah's beautiful acoustic version... So I guess you could say this is a cover of a cover, haha! :)
Hope you enjoy our version of this haunting Lannister melody. x

"And who are you," the proud lord said, "that I must bow so low?"
"Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know"
"In coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws,"
"And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours..."
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, with not a soul to hear
