Tate McRae - The Making of 'exes' (Vevo Footnotes)

Teamwork is dreamwork! Tate says she and producer Ryan Tedder (of OneRepublic fame) knocked out the fabulous "exes" in a half-hour, a burst of studio creativity that she calls a "Hail Mary" move in our exclusive Footnotes interview. The visuals are an homage to classic woman singer videos, including Britney Spears' "I'm A Slave 4 U," and Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty." Choreographer Sean Bankhead was asked to push the dance moves into the next-level zone, and Team Tate's squad responded with coordination both gorgeous and provocative. The rodeo theme stems from the bronc-busting action the Calgary, Canada native took in a child, trading the ice setting of "greedy" for some dust and dirt. "exes" director Aerin Moreno says that once the shoot was underway, Tate's star power became super obvious. Check Footnotes for more info!
