I have made the last year and a half of my career about authenticity, vulnerability, and just plain realness. I wrote this song because I need to hear it (probably every single day). I often forget to listen to those people in my life who know me and love me regardless of all of my flaws. It's hard sometimes to ignore the mean voice in my head telling me I should hide and that I'm not good enough.

If I have learned anything in this crazy "journey" we call life, it's that the only way to get past fear is to SHOW UP and just BE. That is what I wanted to communicate with this song. I am making the choice every day to fight to be unafraid to be seen. Some days it's easier than others, but I know that the alternative to showing up (and sometimes falling on your face because of it) is fear and hiding - that is a life I used to live, and a life I never want to go back to. Show up. Be proud to be seen for everything you are. Let it get messy - no one ACTUALLY has it all together. Don't miss out on life because you are afraid to step in the arena. There will be failure. There will be heartbreak, but there will also be beautiful. And that Beautiful is worth it.
