Sometimes we don’t know how good we had it until it’s gone. When we lose, we learn and when we learn, we understand more and it’s only then that we are able to see things we couldn’t in the moment... Obviously the relationship this song was inspired by wasn’t right for me but I can’t help but think about it sometimes. The good moments were good and even though letting go was really hard, going through it helped me better understand what I needed out of a relationship. All this to say, there are some relationships I regret but this one wasn’t one of them... I learned so much and now that the pain of it has had time to heal, I can see how sweet that time of my life was.

I wanted this music video to feel odd and magical and simple and sweet because that's what falling in love for the first time feels like. But seriously how cute is that piano planter. The director on set said “this is some real Narnia sh**” and I agree!! I don’t think that I have shot a more magical video!
