Hello Ms. YankeeDiva!
I just finished watching your first VLOG posting! Lovely! I am a young musician (singer) and am currently trying to figure out which graduate schools to apply to-ahhhh! I have a few questions for you though, please feel free to answer one, or all, or none, but thank you for reading...
1.) As a young singer, people are always telling me to do this, do that, sing this, don't sing that...how did you learn to navigate the advice field and in the end, who did/do you listen to the most for guidance?
2.) An opera career is expensive! What kinds of things did you do for money when you were just starting out and how did you make it to all of the auditions and summer programs, etc. without becoming homeless?
3.) What kinds of things do you think that we, the future generation of musicians, should be working on to help protect the future of classical music? Who should we be talking to, and what should we be prepared to deal with?
