Both music and text for this song come from the German Advent tradition and here Jonas Kaufmann is joined by the Salzburg Chamber Soloists. “It’s Christmas! - Gold Edition” includes almost 50 holiday songs from around the world, including Silent Night, O Holy Night, Adeste Fideles, White Christmas, Let it Snow! and many more, plus a bonus CD of Jonas Kaufmann reading his favorite German Christmas poems and stories.
