You can learn to sing through puberty!

In fact, it’s probably more important thing is to continue training the voice through this time-but we’ll get to that later.

In addition to physical changes, voice changes through puberty.

Boys and girls voices change--not just dudes. However, a boys voice changes much more dramatically.

If you’re a girl and you’re watching this, everything we cover will still totally apply to you.

But it may just be a bit less of a dramatic vocal change-a boys larynx will grow about 3x larger than a girls during this time.

So today we’ll look at what causes these voice changes, what you can expect and my 3 favorite exercises for singers to improve voice breaks during their voice change.

First of all, let’s look at what actually causes this change: puberty, the physical change that results in sexual maturity usually starts between 12 and 13, and ends around 15 to 18--can happen earlier, later, last longer or shorter.

Actually your voice doesn’t really totally settle until in our 30s.
