"Hello Joyce, I am an aspiring singer studying my masters in opera. I have a question that has been on my mind for quite a while and I was wondering if you could answer in one of your blogs or video blogs. I am an extremely sociable person. I really thrive in social interaction and in having a close group of friends that I can always rely on and have close by to hang out with or just to chat. I keep on hearing from fellow teachers that the life of a profesional singer is a lonely one, and that I need to learn to be alone, and to not have a social life. How true is this? and how do you cope with it?"
