ABOUT STEVIE WONDER
Stevie Wonder is a legendary American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer whose groundbreaking career spans over six decades, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time with more than 100 million records sold worldwide. Born Stevland Hardaway Morris on May 13, 1950, in Saginaw, Michigan, Wonder signed with Motown's Tamla label at just 11 years old, earning the nickname "Little Stevie Wonder." Despite being blind since shortly after birth, he mastered multiple instruments and redefined the boundaries of R&B, soul, pop, funk, and jazz music. His iconic discography includes songs such as I Wish, Superstition, Isn't She Lovely, Sir Duke, Higher Ground, and I Just Called to Say I Love You, cementing his status as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and one of the greatest musicians in history. With 25 Grammy Awards, Stevie Wonder's influence on contemporary music, civil rights activism, and American culture remains immeasurable and enduring.
