Everyone is having fun in “Don’t Go Yet.” The first video from Camila Cabello’s upcoming ‘Familia’ album finds many members of the star’s rea-life family on camera, laughing, dancing and frolicking. In our exclusive Footnotes interview, Camila says, “We wanted to make something that gave us a joyous, celebratory feeling.” Bouncing from room to room while enjoying the personalities at a massive dinner party (cooking being one of Ms. Cabello’s recent hobbies), the action is as frenetic as the music. Directors Philippa Price and Pilar Zeta explain that they loved the notion of “creating a pop video driven by awkward choreography.” Stylists Chloe & Chenelle speak to the “quirky editorial fashion” choices of 80s art deco and geometric shapes they used here. Camila says ‘Familia’ is about “prioritizing friendships and relationships.” That feeling is everywhere in “Don’t Go Yet.”
