Ever since my tea time with Simone Simons of Epica, I've determined that symphonic metal is definitely my groove. Her voice is magical, the composition of the work I've heard is exciting, and fills me with such giddiness! So add in there Charlotte Wessels whom I have only heard a duet with Tommy Karevik (Kamelot), and have yet to hear her own music (as she keeps being recommended). Finish this collection off with Amalie Bruun aka Myrkur, the composer, vocalist and classically trained multi-instrumentalist from a black metal band, and you can't imagine how intrigued I am!!

She also plays Diablo and Dungeons & Dragons.
