Structure of a 30-minute Class:
1. Hello Song: It can say hello in it, or it can be a song that signals the beginning of music time.
2. Hand Motion or A Cappella/Fingerplay
3. Gross Motor: Have the kids get up and move
4. Hand Motion or A Cappella/Fingerplay: This can be “up” or “down”.
5. Prop song: Ex: animals, scarves, rings, bean bags, instruments (you can get egg shakers, as well as tambourines in my shop.)
6. Gross Motor: Choose a song that has them use their bodies in a way that's different from song #3. (i.e. standing at the circle instead of traveling around it.)
7. Gross Motor or Lullaby: Depends on energy of the class, do you need to do something that is more “up” or “down?”
8. Goodbye song
